The 2026 South Texas Advanced Symposium on Trauma, Critical Care and Emergency General Surgery is a continuing education* event designed to provide the latest information on relevant trauma, critical care and emergency general surgery topics for a wide range of medical professionals. Topics will include trauma systems, adult, pediatric, and geriatric trauma and critical care management and emergency surgery topics.

The conference will focus on evidence-based and clinically relevant information for participants to use in their daily practice, including current trends on trauma and critical care medicine and principles for practical healthcare application. A diverse roster of professional speakers, including military experts, wellknown trauma surgeons, registered nurses and first responders, will lead the sessions.
